1st road trip of 2021

Our first road trip of 2021. Sunshine and I are avid travelers. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a major disruption of our plans. In an effort to put that behind us, we gathered up a couple of friends and headed out to West Virginia.

There, in a small town that was made famous in the year 2000, we stopped for some lunch at the Bavarian Inn.

Located on the Potomac. This little inn brings a touch of German food to the locals and travelers alike. They were decorated a little like a German Christmas town. I say a little because it was a very little

We were certainly glad to see the soldiers guarding the doors were following the three “Ws” of the pandemic. Wear a mask, wash your hands and watch your distance.

The Inn’s main building has the desk to check in and houses the restaurant  Here we enjoyed a great lunch and some fellowship while escaping the confines of our home

The staff has taken extra precautions during these days and always wore a mask  The day was cool, but not cold, and overcast  During the summer I can imagine this would be a great spot to relax

Thanks for reading  until our next adventure
